The MICAMP C-148 is an ultra-compact, durable microphone amplifier for on-location use for film recordings or in radio and music production, for example. The C-148 is battery-powered and comes with a number of professional features such as high-quality low-cut filter, limiter with very low distortion and balanced input with phantom power, balanced output, return input for playback, signal indicator and headphone output with separate level control.

LOW DISTORTION LIMITER

The MICAMP C-148 has a limiter with broad frequency range and low distortion that protects against clipping in the recording if for some reason the recording levels are set too high.

INTEGRATED WIND NOISE FILTER

A soft low-cut filter with a 6 dB/octave roll-off at either 80 or 160 Hz can be easily activated on the MICAMP C-148 to easily combat wind noise.

EXTREMELY POWER EFFICIENT

The MICAMP C-148 is powered by 4 AAA batteries. These can be either alkaline or rechargeable batteries. The battery life is 6–10 hours with continuous use.

ALL THE CONNECTIONS YOU NEED

All inputs/outputs except headphone outputs are on the back of the product The microphone input consists of a 3-pin XLR port with selectable 48 V phantom power. . The main output is a 3-pin XLR port with a balanced line level signal that can be adjusted for compliance with different standard levels via an internal trim potentiometer. In addition, there is also an unbalanced output as well as return input.
