SUPERIOR RECORDING FLEXIBILITY IN THE FIELD

The MM-4240 is a compact, high-end audio mixer & recorder for professional portable use, for example in film recording or audio reportage. With its light weight and heavy-duty metal chassis, it can withstand the most demanding environments, and records in 96 kHz/24-bit audio resolution for the most discerning user’s requirements. . It’s ultra-light, has ultra-low noise amplifiers and is easy to use thanks to its high-contrast OLED display and dedicated potentiometers. All housed in a compact metal case with low weight (900 grams).

ALL THE I/O YOU COULD WANT

The mixer features 4 high-quality, digitally controlled microphone preamps from THAT Corporation. There are 5 stereo output buses: 1 master, 1 monitor, 2 digital and 1 headphone output. The output buses can be assigned individually to any input pair or the master mix bus. The unit also has mid/side M-S matrix on each input.

OPTIMAL SOUND QUALITY

The MM-4240 has an internal sample rate of 96 kHz and full 24-bit input for output resolution. . The recorder can be set for other sample rates and resolutions.

ADVANCED DISPLAY

The MM-4240 has an extremely bright OLED display that presents recording levels, but is also used for menus and recording information. A virtual timecode can be displayed for easy filming with a
non-TC (timecode) camera and the extensive menu system provides full
control of signal routing and input configuration.

TOTAL CONTROL

The front panel of the MM-4240 is compact while offering direct access to all controls. Pre-gain and pan are integrated into a dual-dial control and the device has dedicated rotary potentiometers and buttons for the most common functions such as pre-gain, panning, faders, recording, test tone, monitoring, etc.
